Originally from Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, Trinh (she/her) and her family immigrated to the
United States in 2003 to be closer to family and for educational opportunities. While she
considers Vietnam her home, Austin has been the city of her dreams. She is a graduate
of Southwestern University's Class of 2019, holding a BA in Psychology and English.

Trinh currently serves as the Director of Community Outreach for the non-profit
organization, FloCode, after initially joining as an ambassador in August. Her role
includes reaching out to local businesses and organizations in order to donate
menstrual hygiene products to people in need, educate the public on women's health
issues, and advocate to bring awareness to the stigma of menstruation.

Trinh has always been drawn to women and gender issues in society and is particularly
focused on sexual assault and women's health. She was also the student director for
the annual 'We are Women' event on her undergraduate campus
which empowered women of diverse backgrounds to perform spoken word poetry. She
also volunteers for Boss Babes ATX, a non-profit organization in Austin from time to
time. With a strong passion for mental health, Trinh aims to become a therapist for a 4-
year academic institution in the future.

In her free time, she enjoys learning about watching re-runs of Grey's Anatomy,
picnicking at Zilker park and spending too much money online shopping. Her favorite
author is Roxane Gay and her favorite food would have to be a classic cheeseburger.
