Danielle Willis, MSW, LCSW, LAC is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Addiction Counselor. Danielle began teaching for the School of Social Work in 2014. Danielle gathered her MSW from Colorado State University. She has worked with individuals living with HIV/AIDS and in school social work. Willis’s teaching focuses are addictions, behavioral health, and practice classes. In addition to being a full-time member of the faculty, Willis has a private practice focused on grief and loss, chronic illnesses, resiliency, stigma/shame,  addictions, and clinical supervision. Willis also serves as the Northern Representative for NASW Colorado. Willis received CHHS the Non-Tenue Track Early Career Teaching Award for 2019. Willis has had the opportunity to share her addictions/behavioral health work through many presentations at Colorado State and the larger community level.
