Erica Anderson
Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern and Third-Year Doctoral Student
Erica Anderson holds a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Tampa and an M.S. in Counseling with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health from Bethune-Cookman University. Currently, Erica is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern and third-year doctoral student in the College of Behavioral and Community Sciences at the University of South Florida. She has experience working with adjudicated youth who have been referred for counseling services and providing psychosocial interventions for youth involved in the child welfare system. Erica aspires to become a researcher-clinician to contribute to the literary works aimed at reducing mental and physical health disparities among racial and ethnic minorities-particularly among African Americans. She holds leadership positions in the Tampa, Florida Professional Chapter of SISTUHS, Incorporated, and serves on the Association of Black Psychologists Student Circle Executive Board. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering, serving as a mentor, and traveling.
